Description: Gut health has become an increasingly popular topic in the consumer landscape over the past few years. In fact, improved digestive and gut health are some of the top benefits that consumers are looking for from the foods and beverages they consume (IFIC, 2023). However, there is still a lot of misinformation out there about the relationship between gut health, overall health, and mental well-being – and the research on this topic continues to evolve. In this webinar, our expert speakers will explore the complex world of the gut microbiome and its fascinating link to not just our physical health, but also to our mental well-being. They will focus on the role of biotics and discuss the latest research on the relationship between food, mood, gut health, and well-being. You’ll receive the tools you need to educate your patients and clients on the importance of nutrition and digestion for gut health and beyond, actionable guidance to help them better understand the power three of gut health and tips to help them include more gut-supportive foods in their diets.

The goals of this webinar are:

  1. Review the complex world of the gut microbiome and its fascinating link to not just our physical health, but also, our mental well-being.
  2. Explore the recent research on gut health mechanisms and the potential effects of gut health on long-term health outcomes and well-being.
  3. Share the common misconceptions about digestive health – and its relationship with mental well-being.
  4. Provide practical tips for healthcare professionals on how to talk with clients and patients about gut health, and guidance for helping them include more gut-supporting foods in their diets.
